Reiki:- Dr. Mikao Usui, A Japanese had taken a lot of effort to give a re-birth to this day old system of healing. It's origin is from two Japanese words REI & KI. REI means the "Spiritual Wisdom" and KI means the "Life Force". It is the life force or “PRANA” while REI is the universe or the “Prapanja”.
Our body is surrounded with “Aura”. The base of Reiki this Aura.
There are about 88,000 Chakras in an human body. A Reiki practitioner uses 27 Chakras (some are having the opinion that its actually 32 Chakras) for cleansing the body and out of which 10 are relatively more important. Out of these ten chakras, 7 Chakras are most important. They are :
1. Root Chakra or Mooladhara Chakram.
2. Hara Chakra or Swadhishtana Chakram
3. Solar Plexus or Manipooraka Chakram.
4. Heart Chakra or Anahata Chakram.
5. Throat Chakra or Visudhi Chakram.
6. Brow Chakra or Anja Chakram.
7. Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakram.
There are three symbols also in Reiki Which are also so important.
They are
1) Cho Ku Rei,
2) Sei Hei Ki
3) Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen.
By using our hands the Reiki Practitioner passes the Reiki energy to the person who is undergoing Reiki treatments. It is also advisable that a Reiki practitioner may recite the following five prayers in the morning and afternoon.
- Just for today I will not be angry.
- Just for today I will not worry.
- Just for today I will do all my duties with utmost honesty.
- Just for today I will be grateful for all my blessings.
- Just for today I will be kind and considerate for all organic and inorganic, living and non-living beings in the world.
Divine Healing:- This is another type of treatment, based on the pressure points in our body, something like Acupressure. By stimulating (pressing) the pressure points in our body, the healing energy in our body is energizing.
